Emma Bradd taking a free kick for Buxton
Buxton are at the end of what has been a hectic week of football. they are in the process of playing half the season's fixtures in one month due to so many postponements of the winter. Having played a double header last week gaining 3 points from 6, and playing the game of the season against a Manchester Stingers team challenging for the league title, a 2-1 deserved victory should have given Buxton added confidence coming into this game.
Buxton started slowly and conceded in the first minute when a sliced cross lobbed the stand in Buxton Keeper Godfrey finding the back of the net, giving Bolton a 1-01 lead. Buxton settled down after this early set back to create some unconverted chances. Buxton started getting into this game with some passionate from Cox, Bolton could not find a way through to the Buxton goal. At the other end Buxton only created one serious effort, which went narrowly wide from Pimblett. Half time score was 1-0 with Bolton holding on to their lead.
